To The Manor Borne

In Malachy McCourt's memoir "A monk swimming", there are many passages that i like. For example, "The wide. almond eyes, dark changing and laughing. The exquisite nose, and the full-lipped mouth engorged with sensuality, glowing so ruby red that I thought,"If I ever get to put my lips to hers, I should not remove them 'til i die.". I like this passage because, sometimes in life I like to fantasize about girls or more like to say my girlfriend. I always think that if I was to marry the right girl for me, and that would my girlfriend be the one? This passage makes me think about myself. This passage makes me feel as if I were not the only one who fantasizes. I also like how Malachy writes about him and the fire island. This island was an island that girls on that island, all they want is to sleep with how many guys they could fit. I thought this passage ws funny because, when i started to read this book I wasn't expecting to read book about his sex life. This is really interesting about his memoir book too because, if you were to read about memoirs you should be able to read about some personal things too to make it more interesting. He also writes about his other two friends on how they were different. One was South African and the other is always talking about sex and his fantasies. This reminds me of me also because in my life i have friends who are like this too. This section of the memoir is really interesting I can't wait to go to the next section.
